Design Hours and Dev Hours
Design and development, sold by the hour, from the Seahawk team. Design Hours are $99 and Dev Hours $79 an hour.
Two kinds of hour, one simple rule
If the job needs design thinking, it’s a Design Hour. If it’s straightforward development, it’s a Dev Hour.

Design Hours and Dev Hours questions
What’s the difference between a Design Hour and a Dev Hour?
A Design Hour is $99, for work that needs rationale and critical thinking. Anything to do with a new web build is a Design Hour. A Dev Hour is $79, for work that is mostly straightforward.
Is a rebuild a Design Hour or a Dev Hour?
A rebuild is Dev Hours unless you want an enhanced design. Then it’s Design Hours.
What can Dev Hours be used for?
Development work on your WordPress site: fixes and bugs, layout and style changes, integrations, custom functionality, performance fixes, and content changes, plus rebuilds that keep your current design.
What does a Dev Hour cost?
$79 an hour. Buy more and each hour costs less: 10% off at 10 or more hours, 15% off at 25 or more hours, 20% off at 50 or more hours.
How accurate are the task estimates?
They’re the hours each job usually takes. Our developers size your job in hours and confirm it before work starts.
How are Dev Hours different from the ones in the WP Care plans?
WP Care Pro, Pro+, and VIP include a monthly allowance of Dev Hours on each site (Pro 2, Pro+ 5, VIP 10). Hours bought here are for everything beyond that allowance, and for sites that aren’t on a plan.
How long does the work take?
Most jobs are done within 1 to 3 business days, depending on their size and how quickly you send what’s needed.
